EseeCloud Compatible Cameras β Full Brand List & Supported Brands
eseecloud is not just one brand's app β it is a shared platform used by dozens of camera manufacturers worldwide. If your security camera was purchased from a brand that uses the P2P cloud infrastructure developed by Guangzhou Juan IOT Technology Co., Ltd, there is a very good chance it works with the eseecloud app (also known as IP Pro or VR Cam).
This guide explains why so many brands share the same app, lists confirmed compatible brands, and shows you how to check compatibility for cameras not on this list.
Why Do Multiple Brands Use EseeCloud?
eseecloud is developed by Guangzhou Juan IOT Technology Co., Ltd (εΉΏε·ε·η©θη½ζζ―ζιε ¬εΈ), a Chinese OEM/ODM manufacturer that supplies IP camera hardware and cloud platform services to dozens of brands globally.
This is common in the security camera industry: many brands sold on Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers are manufactured by a small number of Chinese factories and run on the same underlying P2P cloud platform. The cameras connect to the cloud using a unique Cloud ID (also called Device ID), and the eseecloud app acts as the universal front-end to view, control, and manage these cameras.
What this means for you:
- Cameras from different brands can often be added to the same eseecloud account
- The setup process is identical across brands (scan QR code or enter Cloud ID)
- Firmware updates and app updates are managed through eseecloud or the manufacturer
Note: Not every camera sold under these brand names uses EseeCloud. Some brands have multiple product lines using different apps. Always check your camera's quick-start guide or the label on the box for the recommended app.
Confirmed Compatible Camera Brands
The following brands have been confirmed to use eseecloud (or its predecessor IP Pro) as their primary mobile and PC management app:
Hiseeu
Hiseeu officially supports eseecloud for its wireless WiFi camera lineup, including:
- Wireless indoor cameras (dome and bullet)
- Solar-powered outdoor cameras
- 4G LTE cellular cameras
- Wireless NVR kit systems
Hiseeu maintains a dedicated EseeCloud app page on its website. Note that not all Hiseeu cameras use EseeCloud β the Y Series wired cameras use Guard Viewer, and the X Series wired cameras use iCSee.
| Camera Type | Recommended App |
|---|---|
| Wireless WiFi cameras | EseeCloud β |
| Solar / 4G cameras | EseeCloud β |
| Y Series wired cameras | Guard Viewer (not EseeCloud) |
| X Series wired cameras | iCSee (not EseeCloud) |
HeimVision
HeimVision wireless NVR kit systems use eseecloud as their PC CMS client and mobile app. Models such as the HM241 and similar wireless kit systems have been confirmed by users to require EseeCloud for remote viewing and playback.
If you own a HeimVision wireless NVR system, you can download the EseeCloud CMS for Windows from the Download page and add your NVR using its Cloud ID.
xmartO
xmartO officially recommends eseecloud CMS for both Windows and Mac to view, play back, and back up camera footage from xmartO NVR systems and wireless cameras. The EseeCloud CMS supports all xmartO security cameras, including VR cameras, and allows you to manage up to 64 cameras simultaneously.
xmartO users can find setup instructions on the xmartO support page.
OOSSXX
OOSSXX wireless camera systems share the same underlying P2P platform as other brands in this list. Amazon Q&A threads for OOSSXX products confirm that these cameras use the IP Pro / EseeCloud app for remote access.
Smonet
Smonet wireless security camera systems have been reported by users to use the EseeCloud / IP Pro app. If you have a Smonet NVR kit, check the included quick-start guide β if it references IP Pro or EseeCloud, the setup steps on this site will apply.
Anran
Anran is another brand whose wireless camera kits have been reported to use the EseeCloud platform. As with Smonet, verify by checking your camera's packaging or manual for the IP Pro or EseeCloud app name.
Cromorc
Cromorc wireless NVR camera systems have been confirmed by community reports to use the eseecloud app. Users with Cromorc kits can follow the standard Camera Setup Guide on this site.
Camera Types Supported by EseeCloud
Regardless of brand, eseecloud supports a wide range of camera hardware types. Here is what is supported across compatible brands:
| Camera Type | Description | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Single IP Camera | Standalone WiFi camera, indoor or outdoor | Most common; scan QR to add |
| Wireless NVR Kit | Camera system with hub/NVR and 4β16 cameras | Add the NVR, cameras auto-appear |
| Mini NVR | Compact NVR for small installations | Add via Cloud ID |
| 4G / SIM Card Camera | No WiFi needed, uses cellular data | Requires active SIM |
| PTZ Camera | Pan-tilt-zoom with remote directional control | Full PTZ control in app |
| Solar Camera | Battery + solar panel, no wired power | Low-power, motion-triggered |
| Doorbell Camera | Video doorbell with two-way audio | Doorbell push notifications |

How to Check if Your Camera Is Compatible
If your camera brand is not listed above, here is how to determine whether it works with eseecloud:
Method 1: Check the Quick-Start Guide
Look at the printed quick-start guide included with your camera or NVR. If it says:
- "Download EseeCloud" β fully compatible
- "Download IP Pro" β compatible (IP Pro is the former name of EseeCloud)
- "Download VR Cam" β compatible (another alias of the same app)
Method 2: Look for a QR Code on the Camera
eseecloud-compatible cameras have a Cloud ID QR code printed on a label on the camera body or the NVR. This is a unique identifier for P2P connection. If your camera has this type of QR code (not a WiFi setup QR code), it is likely compatible.
Method 3: Check the Camera Label for a Cloud ID
The Cloud ID (also called Device ID or UID) is a string that looks like: ABCD123456789. If your camera label shows a code in this format, try adding it manually in the eseecloud app under Add Device β Manual Add β Enter Cloud ID.
Method 4: Check the Manufacturer's App Name
Search the camera brand's website or Amazon listing for the name of the recommended app. If the listing mentions IP Pro, EseeCloud, or VR Cam, the camera is compatible.
Brands That Are NOT Compatible
Some popular security camera brands have their own proprietary ecosystems and do not use EseeCloud. Attempting to add these cameras to the eseecloud app will not work:
| Brand | Their App | Why Not Compatible |
|---|---|---|
| Wyze | Wyze App | Proprietary P2P platform, closed ecosystem |
| Reolink | Reolink App | Own cloud infrastructure, no EseeCloud support |
| ZOSI | ZOSI App / ZOSI Smart | ZOSI uses its own platform for most newer models |
| Arlo | Arlo App | Fully proprietary, subscription-based cloud |
| Ring | Ring App | Amazon/Ring proprietary ecosystem |
| Blink | Blink Home Monitor | Amazon/Blink proprietary ecosystem |
| Eufy | EufySecurity App | Anker proprietary platform |
If you are looking for an alternative app or platform, see our EseeCloud Alternatives guide.
Tips for Buying EseeCloud-Compatible Cameras
If you want to purchase new cameras that are confirmed to work with eseecloud, here are a few tips:
- Look for "IP Pro" or "EseeCloud" in the Amazon listing β many listings explicitly mention the app name in the product title or description.
- Check for 2.4GHz WiFi support β EseeCloud-compatible cameras only support 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz. If a camera only lists 5GHz, it may not be compatible.
- Prefer brands in the confirmed list above β Hiseeu in particular has a well-maintained EseeCloud integration and offers a wide range of camera types.
- NVR kit users: The NVR itself connects to EseeCloud; the individual cameras connect to the NVR via the NVR's own wireless network, not your home WiFi.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mix cameras from different brands in one EseeCloud account?
Yes. As long as each camera is compatible with the EseeCloud platform, you can add cameras from Hiseeu, HeimVision, xmartO, and other compatible brands to the same account and view them all in the app simultaneously.
Will EseeCloud work with any P2P camera?
Not necessarily. eseecloud works specifically with cameras that use Juan IOT Technology's P2P cloud infrastructure. Other P2P cameras using different cloud platforms (Dahua, Hikvision, or Tuya-based cameras) use different apps.
My camera is from a brand not on this list. What should I try?
Check your quick-start guide for the app name. If it says IP Pro, EseeCloud, or VR Cam, follow the standard setup guide. If you still have trouble, contact the camera manufacturer's support directly β they can confirm which app to use.
Does EseeCloud support ONVIF cameras from other brands?
Some eseecloud-compatible NVR systems support ONVIF for local network access, which means you may be able to integrate third-party ONVIF cameras into your NVR. However, the eseecloud mobile app itself does not natively add arbitrary ONVIF cameras. See the Smart Home guide for ONVIF and RTSP details.
What is the maximum number of cameras EseeCloud supports?
The eseecloud mobile app supports up to 36 cameras simultaneously. The EseeCloud CMS (PC client) supports up to 64 cameras. See the Download page to get the PC client.
